After being refused an instrument change from percussion to clarinet in grade 7 band class, and mastering expert mode drums in Rock Band 2, I joined my high school&#8217;s junior &amp; senior jazz ensembles, playing the hits across Canada. I later graduated with a degree in popular music studies from the University of Western Ontario in 2018, a master&#8217;s degree in songwriting from the Irish World Academy of Music &amp; Dance in 2020, and a graduate certificate in scoring for visual media in 2024 from Sheridan College.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">My work in gaming has won awards from the Games for Change festival in New York City, the Level-Up Showcase, &amp; the CNE Game Garage in Toronto. My work in film &amp; animation has been exhibited in festivals in Toronto, Seattle, Oakville, &amp; Oshawa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Some of my favourite games &amp; cartoons include Hollow Knight, Legend of Dragoon, Inscryption, Lorelei &amp; The Laser Eyes, Resident Evil, Guilty Gear -Strive-, Ace Attorney, Majora&#8217;s Mask, Fire Emblem, Adventure Time, RWBY, Amazing Digital Circus, Sakura Quest, &amp; Laid-Back Camp.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I&#8217;m particularly interested in projects with any of the following: indie horror, small &amp; narrative-focused experiences, PSX or N64 style graphics, animations focusing on daily life or the sport of curling, and anything a bit &#8220;out there&#8221;.
